Job DescriptionSenior Level Civil Estimator opportunity for a top firm in the market!Description:The Estimator must be able to review civil drawings and specifications for a wide range of public and commercial projects Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in estimating civil scope of work (open to entry level with Civil Engineering or CM degree) Ability to read and understand plans in various stages private, public and commercial projectsAnalyze and estimate project changes and assist the project management division in preparing change ordersExperience in preparing complete estimates that include material, labor and equipment.Ability to scope our vendors and subcontractors.Conducted site walk thru and progress visits.HCSS (Heavy Bid Software) knowledge preferredAGTEK or PAYDIRT Software knowledge preferredSkills:Civil, Estimation, Construction, Construction management, Estimating softwareTop Skills Details:Civil, Estimation, Construction, Construction management, Estimating softwareAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Familiarity with AGTEK for take offs and HCSS for bidding is preferred.No degree required, but Construction Management or Civil Engineering degrees are great!Experience with, reviewing plans, sitework, heavy highway paving, underground utilities, land development and/or infrastructure civil engineering projects are all a plus!Experience Level:Expert LevelAbout Actalent:Actalent connects passion with purpose.
