We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our expanding Innovation Group. The team's primary goal is to lead Digitization and focus on customer requirements. Candidates must be capable of investigating and resolving software application problems conveyed from the end users. This position focuses on both internal and external customers of our new proprietary application and also supports internal users from all departments ensuring business application issues are handled professionally, and that the highest quality of service is provided. Communication skills and attention to details are essential to this position.If you have excellent customer service skills, with minimum three years IT experience (programming, application development, database management), and are a whiz at SQL Server (database/report writing) --- we want to talk to you about this new and exciting opportunity.Successful candidate should reside in the southeast Florida area (no relocation assistance). This full-time position includes an excellent benefits package. During training period will work five days per week in our Deerfield Beach office, then eventually evolve to working two days in office and three days remote.Responsibilities

  • Provide second level technical support as part of the IT Operations team to deliver exemplary customer service to clients
  • Support of our software using core Microsoft technologies
  • Managing cases and support requests using online tools and processes
  • Ensuring that client systems are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times
  • Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management
  • Deployment of service releases, patches, requests and customizations
  • Create productive relationships with and between key stakeholders
  • Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy
  • Learn and apply the newly gained knowledge, resolve complex problems and work independently
  • Prepare and deliver on-site and in-person training to clients on test development tools, and advising on best practices
  • Provide on-site and in-person software installation of test development tools on client systems
    Requirements
    • A degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant computer science discipline
    • Minimum of three years' experience working in IT (programming, application development, database management)
    • Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify the root of issues and solve re-occurring technical problems
    • Basic experience in programming using Microsoft technologies such as C#, VB.Net, Web, HTML/CSS/JS, to improve efficiencies and provide workarounds to issues
    • MS SQL database knowledge and experience of query writing and MS SQL Scripts
    • Practical experience of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking
    • Ability to diagnose mobile device specific issues and able to resolve it
    • Must have experience with basic Troubleshooting with web portal apps
    • Familiarity with SAP and Ivanti Service Manager/Helpdesk extremely useful
    • Understanding of business processes and the software development cycle
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize issues
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Position requires minimal domestic travel (via plane, rental car) during training period
    • Must strive to continually build knowledge and skills (professional and computer) and share expertise with others
