Job Description:

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join the MAPEI family. In this role you will be in integral part of the US R&D Team. You will support the function by authoring and maintaining a variety of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information to ensure a safe working environment, drive best in class processes across the organization with the ultimate goal to supply top quality products to the MAPEI customer base. MAPEI Corporate VideoResponsibilities

• Authoring and maintenance of SDS sheets and GHS hazard labels.
• Maintain the existing database of incoming raw material SDS sheets, upload them and coordinate with other members of the department to check compliance with the different regulatory inventories around the globe.
• Assist with the preparation of consumer and GHS labels for US and Canada products.
• Classification and labelling of hazardous materials for all modes of transport (DOT, IATA and IMDG).
• Confirm with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
• Perform other duties as required for research projects.What's in it for you

    • Minimum requirement of Associate Degree or higher in Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology or other Chemical industry.
    • Certification in DOT IMDG and IATA is preferred.
    • The ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Requires proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint, a well as using Internet, as required.
