Position Summary: Serve as the primary point of contact for
in-process installation projects working with the customer, field
installers, and field office personnel. Ensure quality and timely
installation of scoped project while delighting the customer.
Responsible for supporting targeted annual installed volume;
maintaining targeted material and labor costs; and achieving
targeted quality scores and cycle times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the customer and the company
concerning installation, contract and service issues, and has the
discretion to settle customer issues
- Provides timely and ongoing communications with the customers.
- Review the job contract to determine what services can and
cannot be done working with the Project Coordinator on any rework
- Conducts pre-commencement, commencement, in-progress, and
completion visits with assigned projects.
- Measures all custom order products, submits completed job
orders, reviews scope of work, monitors installation labor quality
and progress, and detailed inspection reports
- Supports the installation process by identifying,
communicating, and resolving contract issues with sales staff
- Identifies any special requirements for installations and
communicates those requirements to the installation team
- Inspects and monitors work of installation team to ensure that
the quality and workmanship meets company standards, local and
state building codes
- Troubleshoots, thinks critically, and resolves customer issues
on project site, escalates complex issues as required to leadership
- Partner with training staff to identify opportunities to
improve installation speed and quality based on in-field experience
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- 7+ years' experience and operational knowledge of home
improvement and remodeling which may include bath/wet space,
windows, doors, and/or kitchen cabinet refacing
- Prior experience managing installation labor on multiple
project sites
- Ability to critically think and resolve customer issues while
providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their
attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different
stakeholders without "dropping the ball".
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented
environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "today not
tomorrow" mentality.
- Apply active listening skills through the ability to comprehend
information presented and respond thoughtfully.
- Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter
how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to
completion.
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate
arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex
problems, and engage in reflection.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through
in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the
co-worker or customer's needs at the forefront of every
interaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand,
and manage one's own emotions as well as others, and foster
positive working relationships across all levels of the
organization.
- Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in
accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being
responsible for one's own actions, performance, and decisions.
- Familiarity and comfort using ladders of various heights.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment
without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B
status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- 5+ years in recruiting, retaining, and managing direct and
subcontracted laborers
Travel Requirements:
- Local travel required.

Physical Requirements
- Field Office/Manufacturing/Construction Environment
- Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment and
outside work in varying temperatures and climates.
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally,
and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds
of force constantly to move objects.
