The Corporate Development team is a high-impact team responsible for M&A, Investments, and integration. JM Family Enterprises is seeking an Acquisition Team Lead to join its Corporate Development team to lead integration planning and execution efforts for acquisitions.


The main objective of the Acquisition Team Lead is to support the realization of the value of acquisitions and other ventures by expertly project managing cross-functional teams and processes both before and after acquisition.


The successful candidate will be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Intellectual curiosity and true passion for relationship building and driving positive outcomes are critical for success in this role.


This role is a unique opportunity to join a small team with significant strategic importance to the broader organization. They will report directly to the Chief Corporate Development Officer as the team continues to grow. The Acquisition Team Lead will partner with business and functional leaders across the organization to execute integration plans and deliver milestones across multiple cross-functional workstreams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of integration strategy and help to operationalize that strategy throughout the integration lifecycle
  • Support creation of dashboards and progress reports for executive consumption
  • Proactively drive alignment across a diverse set of stakeholder groups, ranging from the M&A team to subject matter experts in various departments
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings, document decisions & follow up on actions
  • Identify opportunities to improve process and collaboratively institutionalize changes
  • Support other ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements:

  • Masters' Degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • 4-5 years of experience supporting M&A activity and functional integration including due diligence, integration planning & execution
  • 5-7 years of project/ program management and leadership experience including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, vendor management, risk management, and implementation support
  • Ability to manage complex processes from start to finish
  • Ability to drive projects cross-functionally, synthesize feedback, develop agreement, and create structure
  • Automotive, business services, or financial services experience is a plus
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or finance, or related subject
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Deerfield Beach, FL
