This role creates and leads -strategic initiatives and compensation strategies that support and rewards -business success. In this role, you will lead a team involved in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise's compensation policies and programs. The Director will ensure that these programs are competitive in the market and motivate and retain JM Family talent. - -The ideal candidate will have proven ability to lead large complex organizational project and change initiatives through effective influence-based leadership while championing our culture and core values. The Director of Compensations day-to-day activity will span many activities including serving as a dot connector and thought partner, guiding compensation practices and frameworks, designing processes to enable the Compensation programs while championing groundbreaking and visionary thinking. - -Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -

  • Lead Corporate and Executive Compensation function to effectively design, implement, and manage the compensation strategy for corporate and executives -
  • Build collaborative relationships with Senior Leaders and HR Business Partners and provide consultative advice compensation strategy and policy and guideline interpretation -
  • Manage and lead compensation governance structures including preparing materials for the -related committee meetings to drive recommendations for compensation, programs and other analyses requested -
  • Lead the development and implementation of compensation communications to the enterprise -
  • Oversee the design, implementation, administration, and eligibility of enterprise incentive plans and programs -
  • Ensure all compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations; stay abreast of evolving thinking of governmental entities in anticipation of future changes -
  • Develop and consult on compensation plans for M&A activities -
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise compensation philosophy for all compensation elements. -
    • Advise and influence leadership on compensation philosophy. -
    • Provide thought leadership across business units and provide HR and senior management with ongoing consultation. -
    • Partner with HR and leadership to support career paths and alignment of internal job and pay relationships. -
    • Implement, administer and leverage technology solutions for process standardization, automation and efficiency. -
      • Manages the relationship with external vendors, monitoring service level metrics and enforcing contractual obligations -
      • Monitors and benchmarks the marketplace to determine organization's competitive position. -
      • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expertise and guidance to help build and grow the compensation practice. -Job Requirements
        • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree or professional compensation certification a plus -
        • Minimum of six years related experience as a senior leader in -corporate compensation programs, minimum of three years of experience with executive compensation -
        • Minimum of three years of experience serving as a strategic consultant for senior level leaders -
        • Experience designing compensation plans and programs in a large Fortune 500 type of environment, M&A/Private Equity environment is a plus -
        • Must have in depth knowledge of regulatory and legislative factors governing compensation programs -
        • Experience with Workday and Beqom is a plus, experience managing and enhancing compensation technology is required -
        • Demonstrated experience making significant director level decisions, judgments and recommendations. Strong ability to identify, communicate and/or make trade-off decisions. -
          • Forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions. -
          • Experience making data driven decisions including the ability to locate appropriate data sets and arrange the data in a way that creates a compelling story. -
            • Proven ability to manage and lead projects to successful completion. -
            • Demonstrated skills with written and oral communications including presentations. -
            • Works well in a fast-paced environment with multiple/changing priorities and deadlines. -
            • Must be a highly detailed process driven leader with the ability to hold team accountable to results. - -
            • Proven ability to manage and lead through change. -
