Third is the people - passionate, optimistic, and energetic.JOB PURPOSEAs the HR Generalist, you will play an integral role in maintaining accurate employee-related data in our HRIS System, ADP Workforce Now. You will also report on information within the system to contribute to an effective HR function, supporting the strategic goals of the organization. You will be a member of the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the HR Operations Manager.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESHRIS Maintenance -Maintain data integrity in ADP Workforce Now by running reports, analyzing data, and updating employee records.Manage HRIS support email and voicemail boxes ensuring all requests are responded to within 24 hours of receipt.Manage workflow for all employee changes within HR applications ensuring requests are processed timely and in compliance with IT'SUGAR business rules and government regulations.Audit and approve employee-level data change requests submitted by ADP Self Service portal.Assist in the creation and maintenance of HRIS department user documents and training documents supporting HRIS applications.Communicate system-related issues to HR Operations Manager. Partner with HR Operations Manager on recommendations for improving current processes.Projects/Process Improvement - Assist with implementation of new HR system functionalityConduct employment verifications to authorized personnel.Manage unemployment claims for the division with People System management system.Maintain and audit employee files (electronic and paper) to ensure accuracy and complianceAssign and remove HR system access, as neededSupports General HR administrative functions and Ad Hoc projects, as neededManage I-9 Process for the companyAssists in updating HR content on the company websites.Performs other related duties as assignedJOB HOLDER'S REQUIREMENTSAssociates degree in human resources or equivalent preferred.2 years' experience in an HRIS or HR Coordinator RoleExperience with ADP Workforce Now systems is highly preferredA high level of attention to detail in working with employee record entry and mass amounts of data.Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written)Demonstrated a sense of urgency; proactive; flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize own workload in a fast-paced environment; ability to work well under pressure; positive, "can-do"-- - attitudeGood judgment and utmost discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information; resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify problems and provide solutionsStrong technical and analytical skills, advanced knowledge in Excel and overall experience with MS Office; KnowledgeExperience working in the Retail industry a plusWant to learn more about us?Visit our website:us on Facebook:us on Twitter:
