Job Description:

Cutting Edge Recruiting Solutions (CERS) is looking to fill a customer service job. Our client is looking for someone to assist customers with various job duties which include handling incoming calls, handle follow-up calls to customers and vendors, and handle returned goods authorizations for customers. Other job duties assigned as needed.Title: Customer Service Location: Deerfield BeachSalary: $17hrTime: Monday-Thurs 7:30am-4:00pm Friday: 7:30am-2:00pmEssential Job Functions:

  • Answer incoming phone calls to Customer Service to place parts orders and/or resolve questions and situations regarding delivery, pricing, availability etc
  • Answer incoming phone calls from the RLC Territory Manager for inquiries, directives, and administrative support related to Consumer/LCE customer orders, history, pricing, inventory, warranty, logistics, parts lookup, etc
  • Enter phone, fax or e-mail orders into the system
  • Assist customers with parts look up when necessary, using catalogs on file, Partsmart or other on-line resources
  • Assist customers at the counter to place orders or pick up orders already placed, if necessary
  • Invoice tickets for pick up orders or salesmen deliveries
  • Enter Return Goods Authorizations for customers wishing to return parts - Authorizations are to be researched to determine restocking validity, return responsibility, and any follow up actions required
  • Enter quotations into the system and mail or fax information to the customer plus future follow up
  • Place outgoing follow-up calls to customers or vendors
  • Research necessary information for parts set-up, fill out paperwork and forward it to authority to set-up parts
  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized personal work space
  • Other duties required by the company and assigned by the Director or other member of managementQualifications:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (some college level education a plus)
    • Minimum of 1-3 years Customer Service or inside sales or operations support experience
    • Excellent organizational skills with heavy attention to detail required
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively on one's own is absolutely necessary
    • Flexibility and ability to deal with a high volume of tasks, stressful, and sometimes unfamiliar situations and individuals required
    • Strong interpersonal skills required (with managers, co-workers, vendors, customers, etc.)
    • Must be computer literate (touch typing and general Microsoft Office software knowledge a plus)
    • Must have a good, professional, presence and a clear, pleasant phone demeanorPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:
      • Heavy phone and computer use throughout the day
      • Open, team-based work environment with significant visual and auditory stimuli throughout the day
      • Position requires functioning in a cubicle workstation with frequent standing, up, and sitting down with brisk walking to assist walk-in customers and to retrieve parts or documents as necessary
      • Frequent work flow interruptions by customers and co-workers is a necessary part of the position function
