Job Description:
Full time pharmacist for NICU, back up for OB. Mon-Fri 7:30 am
-4 pm. Every 4 th weekend. Experience: Required: PGY-1 Preferred:
PGY-2 or experience in pediatric or NICU Review and monitor
patient's medication therapy and orders written for safety and
efficacy considering specific patient conditions and health status;
advise patient care team on patient's medication therapy and
document such interventions. Order verification and performing
medication profile reviews that should include but not limited to
checking for duplications, drug- drug and drug-food interactions,
allergies, drug appropriateness, dosing, and frequency. Prepare,
label, and dispense medications for patients in accordance with
physicians' prescriptions; ensure compliance with Federal, State,
and local laws and regulations pertaining to the dispensing of
drugs and narcotics and the maintenance of required records.

Experience: Required: PGY-1 Preferred: PGY-2 in ped or 3-5 year
experience in NICU License: Current registered pharmacist license
in the State of Florida Certifications: Required: BLS within 30
days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required);
Preferred: Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS), CGP, etc.
