function in a fast-paced environment. Position SummaryThe
Transportation Tech assists members of the health care team in the
transporting and well-being of patients by performing specific
tasks as directed by patient caregivers. The Transportation Tech is
a patient advocate and works with all departments to ensure timely
movement of patients throughout the JMC system and services.
Demonstrating high quality competency to assist staff with
transporting of patients to and from various medical departments
and service lines in a safe and compassionate manner. Assists in
maintaining and adjusting schedules to meet the needs of the
department. Performs other duties as assigned.Team Member

These threshold requirements are required and completed on a yearly
basis. Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements,
in-service and health requirements including attendance at new
employee orientation. TB/PPD Surveillance Program.Maintenance of
required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
