The work we do building families offers stimulation, challenge, and personal reward. We have an immediate opening for a Per Diem Ultrasonographer to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. The schedule is on call/as needed Monday through Friday (between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM), and/or Saturday or Sunday (between the hours of 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM). How You'll Contribute: We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Ultrasonographer is responsible for: Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology Makes necessary measurements & calculations Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records Establishes personal rapport with patients Provides explanations of procedures What You'll Bring: The skills and education we need are: 2 years experience in women’s health strongly preferred Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS RDMS/RVT required Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job More important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
