Unlock your potential! Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: Assembles supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Prepares sterile instrument table. Maintains aseptic techniques and actively monitors situations which could lead to breaches in aseptic technique. Positions patient according to type of surgery. Assists the surgical team in surgical procedures which may include passing instruments, sponges and sutures. Maintains work area. Gathers equipment for cleaning and sterilization. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. What you will need in this role: High School Diploma or GED. 1 - 3 years of recent acute care experience preferred. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS certification). Call required Fingerprinting required HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility.
