The University of Miami is in search of a Level II Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Infusion for a nursing role in Deerfield Beach, Florida.Position Overview & Requirements

  Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will:
  • Assess and evaluate assigned patients, documenting nursing care effectively.
  • Report changes in patients' conditions and vital signs, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Review and interpret diagnostic tests to monitor patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures and treatments.
  • Provide psychological support to patients, considering their age and cultural background.
  • Administer medications safely and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members promptly.
  • Utilize best practices for patient care transitions and assist in discharge planning.
  • Adapt to changing work demands and ensure the safe operation of medical equipment.
  • Serve as a mentor to new staff, aiding their acclimatization to the healthcare environment.

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.Certification and Licensing:
      • Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support Certification (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
      • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course.Experience:
        • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
          • Familiarity with medical terminology and nursing care methods.
          • In-depth understanding of health and safety guidelines.
          • Excellent patient experience skills and problem-solving abilities.
