Job Description
The Operations Management Director will be responsible for overseeing JM Family's IT hardware, software applications, cloud platforms, and computer networks. - This position directs a team that provides complex technical support with the goal of ensuring integrity and reliability of technologies. - The Operations Management Director manages planned or unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and problem resolution. - This position will seek to minimize downtime or service disruptions. In addition, this position identifies key performance and capacity metrics and monitors system performance.
IT Operations Management Director responsibilities include:


  • Manage the IT teams that support and monitor network server infrastructures, client hardware and software, IT controls compliance, IT Service Management and disaster recovery administration, ensuring that they are aligned to support JM Family's ability to successfully meet its business objectives
  • Own all IT Service Management processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Develop, plan and implement the strategic direction of an IT Operations center including analyzing and evaluating existing processes, systems and staff
  • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems
  • Prepare reports and ensure optimal performance and maintain records of service level agreements for customers and Operations Metrics and KPI scorecards for service delivery
  • Assist technical staff to check and ensure resolution of all issues to achieve all objectives
  • Capital planning, budgeting, and vendor selection and management including preparing annual budgets, forecasting and meeting financial objectives
  • Implement and ensure efficient maintenance and ensure compliance to all disaster recovery plans.
  • Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements
  • Manage multiple vendors and service providers to optimize service delivery
  • Collaborate on technology and business strategy with appropriate groups across the IT organization
  • Provide leadership, insight and guidance on IT Service Management processes and metrics
  • Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's senior leaders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities
  • Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or Information Systems required

      • Master's degree preferred

      • Proven leadership experience in a 24 x 7 support environment
      • Technical knowledge of current network and client operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, such as Windows OS, Cisco, cloud platforms like O365 and Azure, and AWS
      • 7+ years experience in leading technical teams and the support of complex IT systems projects across multiple hardware and software platforms
      • Proven experience with effective management of IT Service Providers
      • Experience in process improvement and organizational change management
      • Must have proven track record of critical, out-of-the-box thinking
      • Cloud and outsourcing experience are preferred
      • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
      • Candidate must have a passion for associate development and customer service
