Job Description Job Description Top Job Located in Delray Beach, FL We are seeking skilled and dependable Low Voltage Technicians to join our installation and service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems, including security, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, data cabling, and audio/video systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.) Set up and configure devices such as cameras, access control panels, alarm systems, and AV equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues to resolution Ensure installations meet code requirements and manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and system configurations Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades on job sites Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times Travel to various job sites as required (local/regional) Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred 2 years of experience in low-voltage installation or related field Proficiency with hand and power tools, cable testers, and diagnostic equipment Familiarity with systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and structured cabling Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer-specific training Experience with IP-based systems and network configuration OSHA 10/30 certification or other safety training Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential environments What We Offer Competitive hourly wage or salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Company vehicle and tools (if applicable) Training and certification opportunities Career advancement within a growing company 3264ST Express Office: Boca Raton-Delray Beach 15127 Jog Road Suite 212 Delray Beach, FL 33446
