challenges. The Manufacturing Engineer II at Beckman Coulter
Diagnostics is responsible for providing support and solving
problems in the manufacturing process, from assembly to final
packaging, across multiple instrument value streams. This role
emphasizes driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
efficiency, quality, and productivity. Additionally, Manufacturing
Engineer II will be accountable for leading design transfer efforts
to meet business objectives. You will work cross-functionally to
drive business results, DBS culture, and executing on strategic
plans to achieve long-term objectives.This position is part of the
Hardware Operations located in Chaska, MN, or Miami, FL, and will

be a part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations Team and report
to the Engineering Manager responsible for Hardware Manufacturing.

this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Use engineering and scientific principles to drive to root
cause and implement countermeasures for issues discovered
throughout the manufacturing process
- Work cross-functionally to achieve project objectives and
priorities while also improving Hardware Operations KPI
results
- Foster innovation by using DBS tools at Gemba to drive
improvement in safety, quality, delivery, financial, and customer
satisfaction.
- Participate and lead small teams in continuous improvement
events to improve manufacturing processesThe essential requirements
of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in the engineering field with 2+ years exp.
OR a Master's degree in the engineering field
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging and applying technical
expertise to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, regulated
environment
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
within the manufacturing line.
- Experience in cross-functional project management
- Experience working both independently and within project
teamsTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment
Requirements:
- Ability to travel approximately 40%+ in near term, varying
depending on project work and scope neededIt would be a plus if you
also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen
- Hands-on experience working with complex systems that have a
variety of interdependent technologies (motion control, temperature
control, imaging, lasers, fluid handling, analog signal processing,
software controlled, etc.)The salary range for this role is $75K -
$90K . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range
of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible
for bonus/incentive pay.We offer a comprehensive package of
