Who You Are: This is a front-line customer facing role that requires solid communications skills, expert troubleshooting & technical abilities. You are customer service and process oriented. You are personally motivated to continue to learn and grow your technical skill set. You have enjoyed working and growing in a helpdesk environment, and have served as an escalation resource for your peers. What You'll Do: Ensure any applicable engineering activities and configurations are well documented Convey understanding and competency in communications to clients and co-workers Run network discoveries and use the results to provide network improvement recommendations Physically rack and stack networking and security equipment Install and support systems infrastructure comprised of VMware, SANs, Active Directory Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and security hardware and software, such as routers, switches, and firewalls Collaborate with Engineering team Engage with clients as a trusted advisor on assigned projects and tasks Proven track record of providing enterprise level project and network deliverables Contribute to the improvement of project processes and documentation Present technical concepts of all difficulties in understandable language Qualifications and Requirements MSP experience required Connectwise experience required Windows Server (all versions) Firewalls, Managed Switches, VPNs & WiFi (VLAN, Routing knowledge) Exchange Server (all versions) Experience with VMware Infrastructure Experience with Hyper-V MCSA, MCSE, CCNA/CCNP or VCP Certification is desired Azure & Office 365 Remote Desktop Server SANs Knowledge of security best practices, on premise and cloud Experience deploying and administering SSO/MFA solutions MDM deployment and administration Administration experience with Office 365 and Azure Extensive knowledge of Active Directory Cisco Unified Communications experience (CUCM/CME Administration & troubleshooting) Proficiency with scripting/automation/powershell Solid understanding of complex IP networks Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, time management, project management, and conflict resolution Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and drive to be successful Reliable vehicle and willing and able to travel in Southern California Benefits At Xceptional, our people are our greatest asset!
