Position type: Part-time Contract
Duration: 18 months (25-35 hours per week)
Location: Miami, FL Onsite

As a Teacher (Bilingual - English & Spanish) , you will be responsible for -
Empower Client by helping them thrive in the digital world and harness technology to achieve their personal goals. Trainers are the face of CLIENT to Client; in addition to delivering CLIENT curriculum and offering technology support, trainers serve as "brand ambassadors" and are responsible for communicating the CLIENT culture of excellence, curiosity, and attitude. Trainers teach CLIENT' curriculum using books and online resources specifically designed for Client. Trainers guide participants in sending emails, exploring their interests online, connecting with family and friends on social media, banking online, starting small businesses, and much more. Trainers are also fundamental in creating a community of support among participants.

Job description
Teaching technology courses virtually and in-person using the CLIENT curriculum and approach
Creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment
Offering personalized support to callers on the Client hotlines
Making outbound calls to Client members
Maintaining professionalism at all times
Representing and promoting Client culture and opportunities to course participants
Engaging in regular communication with CLIENT staff, including feedback on site issues, curriculum, etc.
Coordinating with site staff, including site visits, graduations, etc.
Submitting paperwork in a timely manner
Collecting surveys and evaluations
Entering data into Salesforce database
Participating in trainer meetings and other training events
Recruiting participants, as needed
Participating in special projects, as needed (ex. outreach, curriculum, etc.)
Supervising volunteers who assist classes, as needed Degree of autonomy and independent judgment


Qualifications:
Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English and Spanish - Hattian creole would be a plus

Experience teaching teenagers, adults, and/or seniors, preferable
Proficiency with Windows computers, iOS, popular social media sites, and other common technologies/devices
Ability to work independently and as part of a training team
- Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor
Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional work setting

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $35/hr - $37/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
