Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic international
organization in Miami, Florida. This long-term contract position
offers the opportunity to oversee critical accounting operations in
a fast-paced environment with 16 global offices. The role requires
a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who excels in managing tasks
end-to-end and thrives in a collaborative, detail-focused setting.
Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close processes to ensure
accurate and timely financial reporting. • Perform detailed bank
reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Handle
multi-currency accounting for international offices, ensuring
compliance with global standards. • Review and oversee
international tax filings in collaboration with external partners.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure
compliance. • Support accounts payable operations and address
general accounting needs as required. • Provide training and
guidance on foreign exchange and accounting systems to team
members. • Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring
accuracy and completeness of journal entries. • Assist in the
implementation and optimization of accounting systems to enhance
efficiency.• Extensive senior-level accounting experience, with a
preference for candidates with public accounting backgrounds. •
Proven expertise in working with international entities and
managing foreign currency transactions. • Proficiency in major ERP
systems, such as Aderant or similar platforms, is required. •
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and proactive
problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with general ledger
maintenance and journal entry processes. • Experience with
month-end close procedures and account reconciliations. • Ability
to collaborate effectively in a 100% in-office environment. •
Knowledge of international tax regulations and compliance
requirements.
